Jehovah Jireh :)

So excited!! we're collecting our house keys in 2 days!! :) was actually scheduled to collect on 12th july, but we wanted to have more time before keys collection.

God's indeed our Provider!Never would have thought of Boon Keng area, never would have thought of getting a place 1mth after the wedding, never would have thought there would be finances, never would have thought ... :)

This was our 4th 'donation' to HDB for a chance to get a home. 1st was for AMK, which we got to select but didnt as we didnt like the corridors, 2nd was for Strathmore which we were rejected, and 3rd was JE/JW, which was more of an "exposure" for us to walk-in exercises.. and this 4th time!

i still remember dallas calling me on a monday morning abt 9am, waking me up from my precious sleep with a "Love! HDB got walk-in!" haha.. and the rest was just a blur.. called Liesbet.. and rushed down to HDB hub. thank God we knew the walk-in procedures and thank God dallas cousin was already there, so we got 'help'.. hee hee.. but the number was huge! (well, at least to us.. until we saw people still taking numbers in the afternoon!) It was 271. So dallas, liesbet and i went for breakfast and i waited with liz until gene came.... meanwhile, we started flipping the 'handbook' for possibilities. :)

Shortlisted AMK and ... Mcnair ! Waz more of a "let's just take a look, since it's near MRT" ... but we liked what we saw..and the thurs nite before our booking appt, we discussed and decided to go for it.. if any flats left by then... :)Cos it did meet our criterias.. near MRT, ammenities, new flat .. and either west or near SAV.. and it's located so near SAV - 1 stop! Not to mention 3 stops from Dby Ght.. hee.. to think we were already open to SK, why not here!? hee hee...

So God really provided a unit for us when we went for the appointment on friday 10.30am. Was quite an experience!! Imagine the biggest purchase i'll prob ever make!

Really thank ful for His providence... and assurance...Deut 6:10-12
