Rubber ducky u're the one..du du du du..

Satisfied and happy... that's how i can describe hubby yesterday. heehee.. 2 of his tiny little dreams has come true ... owning a cheap 'DIY' version of 'rainshower' and the 'cool-looking' basin tap that has a different feel cos there's 'no air bubbles' when the water runs out... *i quote* After sun service we had lunch his parents and brought them to see the progress of Haven, afterwhich, they dropped us off at Jalan Besar which was less than 5 mins away and we shopped around for showersheads. Were amazed that the prices there really are lower than IMM shops etc!

We discovered a cheaper DIY way of owning a 'rainshower' !! one of the shops' uncle showed us the different parts that we could buy seperately and put them together..we could re-use what HDB 'gave' us (afterall, we paid for it!) and it would cost us $140 for it :) WEll, we gave it a shot!

Wat was nice was that they could let us 'test' the different showerheads and taps to see and feel the way water comes out. Guess it did it for me, cos being a "i-need-to-see/feel-it-b4-i'll-know" kinda person, each time i would wish in my heart that i could get a feel of it for myself b4 making a decision to buy or not.

Figured that the things in the shops looks reasonably priced, we ended purchasing almost all the other bathrm accessories from them... the gallon water tank, towel holder etc etc.
Yay! more items settled! Now's the basin and toothbrush/paste, shaver etc holders...
Hmm... can't decided whether to drill a glass shelf into the wall or just to have them placed on the vanity top...





After the shopping, we went together to Raffles photography to take his and his bro's grad photo and family photo :) Not bad, the photographer's professional.. also took one with hubby in our grad gowns (was abit saddened that my sach colour wasnt maroon but red.. oh well). Afterwhich we joined his 3rd uncle's family and grandpa to celebrate mum's birthday.. the food's great!! not to mention durian BD cake!!
Our mum's birthday falls on the same day! too bad my parents scooted off to a thailand trip, so no combine celebration. hee.. 2 oct's quite an eventful date.. it's also my parent's wedding anniversary, it's also cecilia's bd.. and now it's also 'oink's' wedding date!! wow! :)
