Beyond memories...

nothing to do with Haven at all...just borrowing the site for personal expression.. ha.

Dad just bought Beyond's HK farewell concert VCD and i was watching it.. wow.. brought back soo many memories of those sec sch days... where we enjoyed the songs by them... went gaga over them...really attracted by their talent... the fact that they could write their own music and lyrics and play those instruments... loved most of their songs.. esp those by Ka Kui. well... i'm not that crazy over them anymore.. perhaps also cos the lead singer's not ard anymore... in fact i was prepared to give the concert in spore a miss.. ended up, it was dallas who urged us to go!! hmm.. a very late 'convert' haha.
As i watched the concert... felt kinda sad that kakui was gone..it's really different without him in the band... funny that i remembered when i recieved christ, i actually prayed for them to be saved too :P ... cos could tell from the lyrics (some) that they were searching..for freedom, meaning, hope... oh well... when i watched the concert, was initially a bit taken aback by their concert dressing... not my kind of taste ..haha. i remembered alot of my friends were in disbelief when they found out i liked Beyond's songs... cos the impression was that they're some crazy heavy rock band... but actually their song's (most) are good stuff... love the electric guit man! it's not just noise, but skilled tunes :)
Sigh... those were the days... :)
