Work in progress...

yaps. have been so busy that i've not been down to Haven for a peep at all this week.. :(
He popped by Haven this morning and said nothing additional seemed to be done... so i gave ID a call to ask whassup... told me that the carpentry is actually in progress in their worshop this week, and they'll do the "fitting-in" next week... *phew* ... was worried that workers might have been slacking :P


Speaking of which, am reminded to be thankful... believe that the reno experience has been smooth so far, did not really experience any 'trouble' with ID. so far so good :) . i've not got any other past experiences of reno to compare with, but think that it has been pleasant so far. Cos we've heard of 'horror' stories of how some contractors made huge mistakes and didnt bother to redo it back nicely, how some had to keep bargaining with contractor to change certain things and getting all frustrated...etc...
ID does exhibit responsibility and helps us in quite a number of reno decisions cos he has experience for quite a couple of years. kinda like... can trust him to give us good advice (offer cheaper alternatives yet in some other impt aspects, he would advice us to get beta quality stuff etc) and quality in the renov... When we realised along the way that certain areas needed to be done up as well, he was willing to throw in those last-min reno stuff free for us. Only thing is he's slightly behind time... but it was alright with us cos we're not in a hurry... *but musn't let him know* haha.
